One of the historical sites in Lawang Seketeng Village is the Dukur Kayu Mosque, located on Jalan Lawang Seketeng Gang IV or Gang Ponten, RT 6 RW 15, Peneleh Village, Genteng District. The year of construction of the mosque is inscribed in Arabic Pegon script in the center of the pulpit, along with the Javanese sentence: "Awiitpun jumeneng puniko langgar tahun 1893 sasi setunggal." Translated into Indonesian, construction of the mosque began in January 1893.

The mosque, or prayer room, is still used by residents of Lawang Seketeng today. This two-story building is constructed of teak wood and remains unchanged. The first floor serves as a community meeting hall, while the second floor is used for prayer. The walls of the mosque are made of teak wood, and the exterior features a wooden plank, resembling fish scales. To reach the second floor, where the pulpit is located, one must climb seven wooden steps.

A spear approximately 2 meters long was found on the roof of the prayer room. A leather-bound, handwritten copy of the Quran was found on the prayer room. The Dutch logo and prayer times were visible on the Quran.
